Maybe?...No

So I had ANOTHER appointment this week to check to see if I can get my HCG injection and again I'm growing slow. Lol...I have been going three days a week for the past three weeks and am becoming very impatient. I guess I need to work on patience, because when we finally do have our little bundle of joy I'll need that. So I will be returning for yet another appointment on Friday, and they tell me that I should be ready by then! Fingers crossed!! That would make for a very important weekend for me and Josh! ; )

Also, this week and last there has been a TON of baby announcements. While sometimes it is hard to hear the news, I am so happy for each and every one of these lucky ladies! It is so easy to go to a place of why not me, but I am learning to look past that and remember it will come when it is right for us! Maybe God knows that when I do finally get pregnant and want to announce it that I need the spot light on only me!! HAHA! Just Kidding... =)

Until next time..... ; )

NewLIFE

Here is a little info as well as the link to the web page about the Fertility Clinic that I am using. The staff is really great and they make the experience very comfortable. I would recommend them to every one I know. They have three different locations.

About New Leaders In Fertility & Endocrinology: A Unique Practice
Our Mission: "NewLIFE" strives to gently escort couples from the ambiguity of infertility to diagnosis and options for a successful conception in the least disruptive and most cost-effective manner possible.

Our Philosophy
NewLIFE believes that couples are entitled to seek diagnostic testing that may provide the most accurate advice when seeking treatment.  Couples are provided honest counseling regarding treatment options and outcomes but then are allowed to make their own well-informed decisions. Contrary to fertility programs that may screen couples to improve the appearance of their success rates, we feel that this would be inconsistent with our medical and ethical commitments.

NewLIFE provides couples with access to the ONLY fellowship trained and board certified physician providing fertility services in the Florida Panhandle. Offering the most advanced technologies in this comfortable and beautiful setting of Florida's Gulf Coast further distinguishes New Life as a desirable location for many couples to receive their care.

Our Facilities and Communities
With services beginning in 1994, NewLIFE has located and maintained its main office in the demographic center of Pensacola, Florida. At this facility, consultations are provided and the complete array of infertility tests including endocrinology and andrology are performed. NewLIFE provides all advanced reproductive services including IVF at one comfortable location within a convenient and soothing office setting.

The need for improved patient access to fertility care prompted our expansion to four fully staffed office facilities in Panama City, Tallahassee and our latest additions in Mobile, Alabama and Plantation, Fl to better serve South Florida's populous cities of Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and West Palm Beach. Surrounding coastal communities now enjoy greatly eased access to NewLIFE's specialized services. For patients in Mobile, NewLIFE is Mobile’s only option for an American Board-certified fertility specialist with complete ART services. Addresses and directions to these offices may be found on the locations page of the website.

Our Professional Service
Convenience is important to everyone these days.  NewLIFE has developed an “online” submission for new patients saving time and paper. Couples are then able to meet with the staff to begin their evaluation more quickly and accurately with minimal disruption to their careers and daily activities. At NewLIFE patients will receive in-depth and unhurried consultations where both partners are encouraged to attend for what often lasts more than one hour. This kind of attention is essential to make patients comfortable and confident to ultimately deliver their desired results.

The Beginning

Josh and I have been married for almost two years and suffered a miscarriage four months after we got married. We have been trying to conceive ever since the miscarriage in September 2009. After a year of trying on our own we have sought the help of a fertility specialist. We started seeing them in October 2010 and did all the testing. They confirmed that I have PCOS and that my body does not ovulate on its own. They started me on a round of Clomid and we hoped for the best. Unfortunately that was not successful. I am now in the middle of my second cycle taking a fertility pill, Femera, and getting a HCG injection soon. We are hoping that this method will be successful because as all of you trying know that it gets very expensive when you need fertility treatment. I am hoping that through blogging and communicating with others that are going through this I can be hopeful that my time will come soon.
