My weekly appointment went great today. No weight gain from last week, so this keeps my total at 31 pounds. BP was up a little for me, I am usually on the low side, but not high or anything unusual. His heartbeat sounded perfect and I'm measuring right on track still. I didn't get checked for dilation, but I will for sure at my next appointment next Wednesday. We finished our hospital bag this weekend and got our car seat strapped in and ready to go. We did our belly cast also and it was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated. I got really hot and nauseous after the first layer so hopefully it turns out good still since we were rushing after that. All I can think about these days is labor and when will it happen. I feel like I won't know it's happening, but everyone has been assuring me that I will know when it's "time." we have a couple of more decorations to work on for Caden's room but other than that it's just a waiting game. We are ready whenever he is!! Only 16 days until due date and 10 more days of work!! Yippee!! Belly cast picture to come!!

36w5d Appointment

We had an appointment today and it went really well. We FINALLY got an ultrasound! It was so great to see our little boy. And yes, he's still a boy! Woohoo!! They are estimating his weight at 6 pounds 3 ish ounces if I remember correctly. The tech thinks he may be about 7 1/2 pounds when he's born. My beta strep test came back negative, which is great news because then I don't need any antibiotics during labor. We are getting super excited about meeting our little boy! We finally got started on our hospital bag and will be done with that this weekend. I also finally found a diaper bag I like, so I got that last night. Caden's room is almost done. We are now mostly working on decorations now. I can hardly believe I will be 37 weeks (FULL TERM!!) on Friday! It has really flown by. We are going to do our belly cast this weekend also and pick up some last minute things! Tomorrow I turn 26! Yikes!! My last day of work is coming really fast, June 13th!! I have all my weekly appointments booked now. I will be going every wednesday! It's just a waiting game now!!

35w 3d Appointment

Monday we went and saw Dr. McKinney. She is such an incredible doctor and I am so lucky to have her as my OB! All my vitals checked out perfectly and my total weight gain is at 29 pounds. A little more than I was hoping for it to be, but my doctor assured me I am on a good path! I am measuring right on track in the belly department. She did my group b strep test and I am thinking I will get those results back when I go to my appointment next week. Can you believe I'm at weekly visits now!?! She checked me and said I was 70% (I think) thinned out and a finger tip dilated! She said that is right where I am supposed to be. She could also feel Caden's little head! That was very reassuring to know that he is head down and in position for delivery! Fingers crossed I don't have that crazy child that randomly flips around!! I am sooooo excited that at our visit next Wednesday we are getting an ultrasound!! FINALLY!!! Hopefully he is still a he! Lol

On another note, we went to the Fleck's 50th birthday party at Capital City Harley and it was a 70s theme! Everyone had a great time and the costumes were amazing!!!

Maternity Pictures

My extremely talented sister in law Meredith took some maternity pictures for us at railroad square. She did such an amazing job and we are so blessed to have her share her talent with us! These were taken the day after my shower at 34 weeks!

Baby Shower

My mom, Grammy, and Alexis threw me an amazing baby shower!! I am so grateful to everyone that attended! All the decorations and everything was perfect. Alexis had an activity where everyone wrote words of advice to Caden! I LOVED listening to them all and can't wait to read them to Caden when he gets here. Easter and New Furniture!

I had a great Easter with my family! I went over and helped mom cook while Josh was at work. She forced me to make special deviled eggs this year. They were such a pain but turned out super cute! The day before we painted my belly like an Easter egg! It was so fun but Caden didn't make it easy on Grammy! He was rolling around like crazy! We are still on baby watch for my little brothers baby girl. They will be induced tomorrow and the whole family is just abuzz about travel plans etc!

We ordered new furniture because the first place simplybabyfurniture.com was super shady and giving us the run around! The new crib and dresser should be picked up by Wednesday and I'm thinking the changing table by the end of the week! My mom surprised us with an early baby shower gift on Friday, Caden's bedding set!! I love it and can't wait to put everything together! I have a lamp I need to paint and get a shade for as well. I found a super cute tin airplane at Hobby Lobby yesterday that I may have to get for his room.

30 (almost) Week Appointment

Yesterday I had an appointment with Dr. McKinney. Everything went really well! I am at plus 17 pounds in weight gain, BP was great and baby belly is measuring right where it should. It is so encouraging to be reassured that you're doing everything right! I'm not the perfect preggo by any means, but so far everything has been going perfect! I am kind of bummed that I haven't had an ultrasound, but since everything has checked out great I guess I don't need it. So I'm gonna just stop stressing about it and hope Caden stays a boy! Lol

We started our Child Birth Class on Monday evening. It went really well, but Josh and I were surprised we are the youngest couple in class!! We learned all about some pre term labor signs and also a few relaxation techniques. We will go to this class every Monday this month. The last class will be the hospital tour, which I am looking forward to the most.

Still waiting for Caden's furniture to arrive! It's making me crazy because I feel like I'm on pause getting his room ready. Hoping to have it within a week or so.

It's crazy how fast this pregnancy has flown by. I have really enjoyed every moment! Only 10 more, or less, weeks to go. I went to one of my preggo twin, Alexis', baby showers in Jacksonville this past weekend and had a great time. It really made me excited for my own. We had girl time and beach time Sunday!

Getting my hair done next weekend, it's been waaaay too long!! Doing some serious spring cleaning this weekend. There are a lot of distractions this month, so I know April is going to fly by as well!!!
